This application is designed to help you plan your astronomy observations over the next week, month or year. Escape from the tyranny of the new moon by calculating exactly when else you can observe based on your own criteria such as what time you need to start or finish and how many hours of observation you desire. You will be amazed at the expanded possibilities.

It helps to answers these questions ? "When can I observe over the next month or year despite the moon? When can I see Jupiter ? When can I plan a meeting without compromising observation nights ? When to plan a public astronomy event ? When can I observe early with kids ?"
Furthermore, you can select a planet, a Messier or a Caldwell object to see when it can be observed.

You can also schedule meetings, conferences, dinners, etc. without compromising potential observation evenings by selecting the "No observation nights" option.

For every observation period, you get info on the available visible objects as well as maps of the sky during that period.
